Mr. Markowicz, Managing Director of Markowicz International Law, is a licensed attorney in the state of Florida with vast practical experience in international law, international business transactions, international project management, corporate finance, and international business consulting.
After living, working, and studying throughout Latin America, California, Florida, Hong Kong, and mainland China, Mr. Markowicz developed a unique fusion of cultural sensitivity, global business acumen, and practical legal skills, which he brings to bear for his clients.
Prior to establishing Markowicz International Law, Mr. Markowicz worked in several international law firms, where he gained experience in international corporate transactions and litigation. He has advised companies from all over the world on U.S. import and export matters, and has helped these companies overcome local, federal, and regulatory hurdles to meet the required compliance standards. He has also provided legal advisory and business services to U.S. companies on their business, investment ventures, and business expansion plans throughout Latin America and China.
In addition to his legal experience, Mr. Markowicz worked as a business and project manager in Hong Kong and mainland China. He was Director of a company that traded raw material and commodities from Latin America to China; there, he was responsible for synchronizing dozens of companies located in 10 countries throughout the Americas and dozens of cities throughout mainland China.
These legal and business experiences provided Mr. Markowicz the opportunity to build a network of of-counsel professionals throughout the main business centers of the U.S., Asia, and Latin America. All of them share the same passion for providing the highest level of professional service and for connecting the global business community.
Mr. Markowicz is admitted to practice law in the state of Florida and the United States Court of International Trade. He is also registered with the Law Society of Hong Kong as a foreign attorney.
Mr. Markowicz earned his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Hebrew.
